Obituary

Katie Mae Freeman, 81, of Gotha, entered eternal ​peace on Monday, September 2, 2024. Katie was ​born on February 17, 1943 in Shellman, GA to the ​late Irene and Robert Florida, Sr. She was ​employed at a bakery for most of her adult life. ​She was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother ​and friend who will be deeply missed by all who ​knew her.

Katie leaves her loving memories to be ​cherished by her Todd Freeman (son); Cynthia ​Johnson (daughter in law); Laura Miller (sister); ​Robert (Lucille) Florida Jr (brother), 5 ​grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and ​many friends.
